Forgiveness of Sins
The opening Mystery of forgiveness and purification.
ALPHA ΩMEGAFREE CHURCHESOTERIC CHRISTIANITY · THE RESTORED PATH
An operative manual for initiation
and mystical ascension.
THE CENTRAL ACHIEVEMENT
The purpose of this reconstruction is to bring the Mysteries into the lives of practicing disciples.
Early Christian writings preserve a sequence in which Jesus initiates his male and female disciples, empowers them, and reveals the Mysteries of ascent.
David Griffin and Leslie McQuade have brought these rites together in The Books of the Savior as an operative manual: a practical sequence for administering the initiations and undertaking the ascension practice under guidance.
The decisive discovery is at the apex of that sequence: a mystical practice through the Aeons and the Treasuries of Light.
THE APEX OF THE PATH
Heaven, understood as the dimension within light.
Ascension, entered as a living spiritual practice.
MYSTICAL ASCENSION
Ascension is the work toward which the initiations prepare the disciple.
In our practice, the disciple undertakes a guided spiritual ascent through the Twelve Aeons and the Treasuries of Light. Sacred names, seals, ciphers, and invocations provide the operative means of passage preserved in the rites.
We understand the Treasuries as luminous dimensions within light. This is the spiritual cosmology of the ascent: a path toward direct encounter with the divine.
The practice is established through discipline, personal guidance, and correction. The disciple enters the work, records the experience, and returns to practice.
THE FOUNDATION FOR ASCENT
The initiations are administered as a sequence, preparing the disciple for the ascension practice.
The opening Mystery of forgiveness and purification.
The first of the three initiatic baptisms.
The second baptism in the disciple’s preparation.
The third baptism, completing the baptismal sequence.
The Mystery of removing the malice of the Archons, preparing the disciple for ascent.
EXOUSIA · EMPOWERMENT & AUTHORITY
The manuscripts present the rites as transmitting empowerment as well as authority.
Jesus gives his disciples the Mysteries and commissions them to administer the work to others. This is the understanding of exousia at the heart of our practice: disciples receive the Mysteries and are empowered to carry the work forward.
The Church’s apostolic successions support the episcopal authority to administer and restore these rites. The empowerment received through the Mysteries belongs to the disciple’s own initiatic path.

The reconstruction brings the initiations and ascent together for practical use.
The Books of the Savior contains the ritual requirements, spoken formulas, sacred names, seals, and ciphers needed to work the sequence. It also provides pronunciation guidance for consistent ceremonial use.
The restored path is being practiced in the Disciple’s Path working circle, where the initiations are administered and ascension is personally supervised.
The reconstruction draws on the Books of Jeu and related rites in Pistis Sophia. These are the surviving sources from which the operative sequence has been restored.
The manual identifies the concluding Mystery of At-one-ment with the Father as a contemporary liturgical composition by David Griffin. It completes the experiential arc of the living practice and is distinguished explicitly from the reconstructed ancient material.
A SHARED CHRISTIAN INHERITANCE
These Mysteries belong to the spiritual inheritance of every Christian.
Our mission is to assist in their restoration and transmission. No single church, ministry, or denomination owns this inheritance.
You may participate while remaining in your own church. The path does not require a change of denomination.
